The aluminum-magnesium dissimilar alloy resistance spot welding method comprises the following steps that S1, an aluminum alloy plate is subjected to pre-welding treatment; s2, the magnesium alloy substrate is subjected to pre-welding treatment; s3, spraying a middle layer on the surface of the magnesium alloy substrate by adopting electric arc spraying equipment, wherein the middle layer is formed by stacking a Zn coating, a Ni coating and a Zn coating; and S4, the magnesium alloy base plate and the aluminum alloy plate are welded through a resistance spot welding method.
