The embodiment of the invention provides a map generation method and device, electronic equipment and a computer storage medium. The map coding method described herein includes: determining a target map primitive corresponding to a target area in a training map; and generating a target code for the target map primitive such that a first correlation between the target code and the spatially correlated code is greater than a second correlation between the reference code and the spatially correlated code; and providing the target code for generating a map according to the target map primitive.
