Zusammenfassung:	The disclosed technology includes an on-demand water heater that uses an electrical heat source to heat water. The on-demand water heater may have: a low fluid capacity heating chamber having an inlet and an outlet; the electric heat source is used for heating the water; and a controller for controlling the electrical heat source and maintaining the temperature of the water at a predetermined temperature setting. The on-demand water heater can be powered by a direct-current power source.
