Oxidizing compositions for removing natural and/or synthetic color from keratin fibers may include pills or tablets that are readily dispersible when added to a sufficient amount of a peroxide developer solution. The composition may include a gas generating agent to promote decomposition and dispersion of the pill or tablet.
