Polypropylene films with enhanced hydrophobicity

The invention relates to a multilayer polypropylene film comprising: a polypropylene base layer (2); optionally, a tie layer (3) comprising a blend of polypropylene and a sacrificial thermoplastic engineering; a top layer (1) comprising a film having a structured surface with a water contact angle (WCA) of greater than 104.5 DEG, preferably greater than 110 DEG, more preferably greater than 120 DEG, more preferably greater than 130 DEG; wherein the top layer comprises a blend of 20-40% by weight of polypropylene and 60-80% by weight of the engineering thermoplastic, and wherein the sacrificial engineering thermoplastic has been selectively etched to create the structured surface. 本发明涉及一种多层聚丙烯膜，包含:聚丙烯基础层(2)；任选地，连结层(3)，其包含聚丙烯和牺牲性热塑性工程塑料的共混物；顶层(1)，其包含结构化表面具有大于104.5°、优选大于110°、更优选大于120°、更优选大于130°的水接触角(WCA)的膜；其中顶层包含20-40重量％的聚丙烯和60-80重量％的所述热塑性工程塑料的共混物，其中所述牺牲性热塑性工程塑料已经过选择性刻蚀以产生所述结构化表面。
