Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses a phenolic acid compound as well as a preparation method, a pharmaceutical composition and application thereof, the phenolic acid compound is extracted and separated from dogwood, and the invention discloses application of the phenolic acid compound in preparation of medicines for preventing and treating diabetes mellitus and complications thereof. Specifically, the invention discloses application of the compound in preparation of alpha-glucosidase inhibitor hypoglycemic drugs. The invention provides a phenolic acid compound, and further provides a method for extracting the phenolic acid compound from dogwood, which is simple to operate, good in reproducibility and high in extraction purity. Test results show that the phenolic acid compound provided by the invention has an obvious inhibition effect on alpha-glucosidase, and can be applied as a medicine for treating diabetic diseases. The method can also be used for preparing health-care food or functional food for reducing blood sugar.
