Accurate symbol change for radio frequency transmitters

The invention relates to an accurate symbol change for a radio frequency transmitter. Embodiments disclosed herein relate to improving power output of a transmitter of an electronic device. To this end, the transmitter may include signal selection circuitry for adjusting a symbol selection signal to accurately transition between polarities of orthogonal (e.g., I or Q) component signals, which are stored in a memory cell of a radio frequency digital-to-analog converter, or indications thereof. The symbol selection signal may generate a separate adjusted symbol selection signal for each polarity of each orthogonal component signal such that a transition of the selection signal between first and second values (e.g., logically high and low) occurs when the respective orthogonal (e.g., +/-and I/Q) component signal is logically low.
