Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses application of an STARD7 gene to regulation and control of pig skeletal muscle development so as to improve pork quality. The regulation effect of the STARD7 gene in pig skeletal muscle fiber types is studied, the STARD7 gene is modified through m6A, expression of the STARD7 gene in pig skeletal muscle satellite cells is promoted, the pig skeletal muscle satellite cells can be promoted to be differentiated into oxidized muscle fibers, the content of the oxidized muscle fibers in pork is remarkably increased, and the pork has better quality. The method is reliable in result and high in repeatability, a new idea is provided for improving the pig meat performance, a foundation is laid for further researching the development mechanism of the pig skeletal muscle in the future, and a theoretical basis is provided for improving the meat traits of animal products and improving the economic benefits of the animal husbandry industry.
