Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a device for implementing a node-to-node connection. Techniques for joining nodes and sub-components are presented herein. The additively fabricated first node or sub-component has a slot. An additive manufactured second node or sub-component has a tenon configured to extend into and mate with the slot to form a mortise connection between the first and second node or sub-component. In some aspects, the tongue-and-groove connection may extend generally around the periphery of the node or sub-component. In other aspects, a first sub-component having a fluid pipe interface may be coupled to a second sub-component having a fluid pipe interface via a tongue-and-groove connection, allowing fluid to flow between sub-components of the resulting integrated component.
