Tiltable bicycle with tilt disabling mechanism

A stationary bicycle capable of tilting or leaning left and right during use is described. The stationary bicycle has a fixed frame portion and a mobile frame portion pivotably mounted on the fixed frame portion at two spaced apart pivot positions to allow the mobile frame to pivot about a pivot axis defined by the two spaced apart pivot positions. The pivoting action of the bicycle can be prevented, for example, by a damper.
