The simple method comprises the following steps: (1) testing the first efficiency of a half battery of a positive electrode material in a voltage range (U2gt; the charge-discharge capacity is Q1 and Q2 respectively, and the charge-discharge efficiency is Q2/Q1; (2) testing the voltage range (U4gt) from U3 to U4 of the positive electrode material half cell; the charge and discharge capacities are Q3 and Q4 respectively, and the charge and discharge efficiency is Q3/Q4; and (3) the total battery (U4-U2) to (U3-U1), N/P = Q4 * negative electrode surface density * active substance content/Q1 * positive electrode surface density * active substance content, the charging voltage of the total battery is less than or equal to (U4-U2), and the discharging voltage is more than or equal to (U3-U1). The method in the scheme can quickly and accurately improve the first efficiency
