Library of preformed particles and precursors thereof

The present invention relates to preformed microparticles and precursors of such microparticles, sometimes also referred to herein as precursor microparticles, for the specific detection of one or more analytes in a sample. In particular, the invention relates to libraries of such preformed microparticles and libraries of such precursor microparticles. Furthermore, the invention relates to kits for preparing such libraries and kits for detecting an analyte of interest in a sample using such libraries.
