Engineered lipase variants

The present invention provides engineered lipase polypeptides and compositions thereof. Engineered lipase polypeptides have been optimized to provide improved thermal stability, protease stability, and at least one enzyme activity over a range of pH conditions including acidity (pHlt; 7) and alkaline (pHgt; and 7) stability under the condition. The invention also relates to the use of a composition comprising an engineered lipase polypeptide for therapeutic and/or nutritional purposes.
