Zusammenfassung: | Techniques are provided for predicting the amount of at least one biological material produced or consumed by a biological system in a bioreactor. Process conditions and metabolite concentration measurements of the biological system are a function of time. Metabolism rates of the biological system, including specific consumption rates of metabolites and specific productivity of metabolites, are determined. Process conditions and metabolic rates are provided to a hybrid system model configured to predict production of the biological material. The hybrid system model includes a kinetic growth model configured to predict cell growth in a temporal functional form and a metabolic condition model that is based on a specific depletion rate or secretion rate of the metabolites and a selected process condition. Wherein the metabolic condition model is configured to classify the biological system as a metabolic state. An amount of biological material is predicted based on the hybrid system model.
