Novel compound and use thereof

The present invention provides a compound of general formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable prodrug, salt and/or solvate thereof wherein LHS is selected from the group consisting of LHSa and LHSb, and wherein star (*) represents a connection point. These compounds exhibit antibacterial activity against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, in particular Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Acinetobacter baumannii.
