Reconnecting wireless communication link according to variable duty cycle

The invention relates to reconnecting a wireless communication link according to a variable duty cycle. In an exemplary method, a mobile device establishes a first wireless communication link and a second wireless communication link with a second device, and determines that the second wireless communication link is not connected.
