In the hot tightening process, the distance to a leakage point is close, scalding is prone to occurring when operation is improper, and when leakage is large, the distance cannot be close to the leakage point for hot tightening. The method comprises the following steps that an air inlet head of a breather pipe is connected with an air inlet pipe, and a nearby point is connected to a compressed air source of each layer of the boiler; replacing a wrench with a corresponding model according to the model of a nut at a valve leakage part; the telescopic pipe is adjusted according to the site limitation of different valve packing positions; the breather pipe is provided with a gas guide ring, and a roller is mounted in the breather pipe and matched with the fixed support to move the tool back and forth; when hot tightening is carried out, air exhausted by the compressed air source enters the vent pipe through the air i
