The modular construction design method comprises the steps that S1, a triangular bracket component library and a transverse linkage component library are constructed; s2, constructing a transverse distribution proportionality coefficient table; s3, determining the number of triangular brackets required by construction and the distance between the adjacent triangular brackets, and searching the transverse distribution proportionality coefficient of each triangular bracket from the transverse distribution proportionality coefficient table by taking the number m of the triangular brackets and the distance b as searching conditions; s4, calculating the design load of each triangular bracket according to the transverse distribution proportionality coefficient of each triangular bracket; s5, m triangular brackets are selected from the triangular bracket component library according to screening conditions; s6,
