Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to an intravascular device having struts and loops in an undulating pattern wherein at least one strut has a curvature in a curled profile for reducing the compression diameter. The strut configuration includes one or more curved sections that face opposite convex and concave orientations, thereby creating a space or hollow for a relatively aligned portion of the device to lean therein when the device is compressed. The undulating pattern may be staggered such that adjacent loops in the helical direction are axially staggered with respect to a vertical axis perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, where the loops may be positioned in alignment with adjacent struts in the helical direction. The device may include struts of different lengths, which may help obtain an increased expanded diameter of the device. The curved strut design in a curled profile may be used with any endovascular stent design.
