The invention relates to an aroma locking particle for cigarettes and a preparation method of the aroma locking particle. The aroma locking particle for the cigarettes is composed of an internal aroma carrying layer and an external aroma locking layer. The internal fragrance carrying layer is composed of target essence, a calcium reactant, an emulsifier, a filler and purified water; and the external fragrance locking layer is composed of sodium alginate and a film modifier.
