A computing device includes a display, a touch screen sensor array including a plurality of touch sensing elements, and a plurality of drive sensing modules. The drive sensing module includes: a signal source circuit operable to generate a signal; and a drive sensing circuit operable to drive the signal on a touch sensing element and to detect a change in an electrical characteristic of the touch sensing element based on the signal.
