The present disclosure relates to a communication device, method, and apparatus for interconnecting a fundus camera and an external terminal. The communication device comprises: a video module configured to transmit video data between the fundus camera and the external terminal so as to realize video preview of the video data collected by the fundus camera on the external terminal; and a network module configured to establish a communication network between the fundus camera and the external terminal so that the external terminal controls the fundus camera via the communication device using the communication network and according to a preview result of the video preview.
