A remote opening and closing auxiliary device for a box-type transformer comprises a shell, a control mechanism and a remote controller used for controlling the control mechanism. The control mechanism is arranged in the shell; the remote controllers are electrically connected; the control mechanism comprises a control assembly, a first moving rod and a second moving rod, the control assembly is installed in the shell. The first moving rod and the second moving rod are arranged on the shell in a penetrating manner; the first moving rod and the second moving rod are both connected with the control assembly. The control assembly moves based on control signals of the remote controller. Based on movement of the control assembly, the first movement rod and the second movement rod alternately reciprocate. According to the invention, the remote controller sends the control signal to the control assembly so as to control the movement of the control assembly and further control the movement of the first movement rod a
