Through verification, the CsHsf24 gene expression of the tea tree and the flavonoid substance content are in a positive correlation relationship. The CsHsf24 gene is overexpressed by adopting a genetic transformation technology, flavonoid accumulation is remarkably promoted, the tea quality is improved, and the CsHsf24 gene can be used as an important candidate gene for developing genetic engineering and improved breed
