Inflation and sealing device with web control

The present disclosure relates to a web control guide for an inflation and sealing assembly of a protective package forming device for inflating a web material into an inflatable cushion chain. The web control guide is positioned along the material path at a lateral spacing from the first compression element and restricts a first thickness of the material path measured perpendicular to the longitudinal and lateral directions of the material path.
