The gas exchange structure is coupled to the applicator, and both move in the same direction to benefit from gas flow. In one embodiment, the gas exchange structure includes a manifold. Further, in one embodiment, the travel wall may be coupled to the longitudinal axis of the recoater to maintain the clean chamber separated from the dirty chamber.
