The method comprises the following steps: acquiring an internal image of a wind separator based on a machine vision device; the collected image is processed; calculating the tobacco leaf area and the steady-state duty ratio according to the processed image; and then the instantaneous leaf outlet amount of the air separator is calculated through the steady-state duty ratio according to a preset function relation.
