Zusammenfassung:A method for producing a processed titanium material, the method comprising a step for pressing a first pressing body (51), which has an arcuate first pressing surface (51a) extending in a predetermined direction, into the surface of a titanium blank (1), the radius of curvature (mm) of the first pressing surface (51) being 2.5-17.5 mm in a cross-section orthogonal to the direction in which the first pressing surface (51a) extends, and the radius of curvature (mm) of the first pressing surface (51) being 2.5-17.5 mm in the cross-section orthogonal to the direction in which the first pressing surface (51a) extends. The production method satisfies formula (1) and formula (2). And the obtained processed titanium material is not easy to generate surface flaws during hot rolling. 0.5 < = X1 < = R1 * (1-cos [theta] 1) (1) 1.0 < = Y1 < = (-0.16 R12 + 4.4 R1) * (0.25 X1 + 0.037) (2). In the formula, [theta] 1 is 50 DEG, R1 is the radius of curvature (mm) of the first pressing surface in the first cross section, X1 is
