A method for manufacturing a heat-insulated container (1A) having a metal outer container (2) and an inner container (3), the outer container (2) and the inner container (3) being open at one end, the inner container (3) being joined to each other at the open end in a state in which the inner container (3) is housed inside the outer container (2), and a vacuum heat-insulating layer (4) being provided between the outer container (2) and the inner container (3). A vacuum insulation layer (4) is formed between an outer container (2) and an inner container (3) by joining one member (2a) and another member (2b) constituting the outer container (2) by welding.
