Collecting sensor data for vehicle

A first aspect of the present disclosure relates to a computer-implemented method for collecting sensor data of a vehicle. The method includes receiving request data in the vehicle, the request data describing at least one data set lacking in an existing field data set. The method further comprises continuously recording sensor data of the vehicle during operation of the vehicle and storing the recorded sensor data in a short-time memory.
