Zusammenfassung: | A refrigerator according to the present invention comprises: a refrigerating chamber; and an electrostatic atomization device that is disposed in the refrigerating chamber and atomizes water by applying a high voltage. The electrostatic atomization device comprises: an atomization electrode; the opposite electrode is opposite to the atomizing electrode; and a Peltier element for cooling the atomization electrode. The working modes of the electrostatic atomization device are as follows: a freezing mode in which the atomization electrode is cooled by electrifying the Peltier element, so that moisture in the air is frozen on the atomization electrode; a melting mode in which the supply of electricity to the Peltier element is stopped and the ice frozen on the atomizing electrode is melted to generate water; and an atomizing mode in which a high voltage is applied between the atomizing electrode and the counter electrode, and the Peltier element is energized.
