The method comprises the steps that the 3D printer is started; before the 3D printer starts printing, the 3D printer automatically performs pre-detection and obtains a pre-detection result; wherein the pre-detection comprises printing head heating function detection, hot bed heating function detection, consumable abnormality detection, printing head extrusion function detection and motion function detection of the 3D printer; and under the condition that the pre-detection result meets the preset condition, the 3D printer enters a standby state.
