Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to an energy dissipation nozzle for on-demand inkjet printing and a method thereof. A nozzle for a printing system is disclosed. The nozzle includes a canister in communication with a source of printing material. The nozzle also includes a constricted dissipative section in communication with the canister, which may include an elongated internal passage. The nozzle may also include a forming tip in communication with the converging dissipative section, which may include an outlet orifice. The constricted dissipative section may be axisymmetric and may include at least three internal channels that are not in communication with each other. Also disclosed is a nozzle array for a printing system, the nozzle array comprising a plurality of nozzles, where each nozzle comprises: a canister in communication with a source of printing material; a constricted dissipative section in communication with the canister and configured to block fluid flow and having an elongated internal passage; and a sha
