Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to methods of conferring or increasing resistance against fungal pathogens in plants, plant parts and/or plant cells. To this end, the invention focuses on promoting or increasing the production and/or accumulation of a Myb41 type transcription factor (Myb41), fragment or homolog thereof in a plant, plant part and/or plant cell as compared to the corresponding wild type plant, wild type plant part and/or wild type plant cell.
