The invention provides a push-button switch and an operation unit. The push-button switch can make a switch main body operate more reliably while suppressing an increase in the number of components. The button switch includes: a base body; a movable body having a button part and configured to be capable of advancing and retreating with respect to the base body; and a leg body that is an elastic member provided between the movable body and the base body and has a first end portion supported by the movable body and a second end portion in contact with the base body, the first end portion and the second end portion being disposed in a direction inclined to each other with respect to the advancing and retreating direction of the movable body, and the leg body being configured to be in contact with the base body when the movable body is positioned closer to the second position than the first position.
