Zusammenfassung: | Provided is a half bearing constituting a sliding bearing for a shaft member of an internal combustion engine, the half bearing being less susceptible to burn on a sliding surface even if deflection and oscillation of the shaft member occur during operation of the internal combustion engine. In a half bearing constituting a sliding bearing, a plurality of circumferential grooves are formed adjacent to each other on a sliding surface comprising a first curved surface and a second curved surface having different curvatures, and the sliding surface has a flat surface portion parallel to the axial direction and an inclined surface portion adjacent to the flat surface portion. The inclined surface portion is displaced so that the sliding surface continuously approaches the back surface from the flat surface portion toward the axial end of the sliding surface, the position of the maximum groove depth in the circumferential direction is located on the groove center line, and the groove center line of the inclined su |
