Method and apparatus for dynamic group management

Each embodiment of the invention provides a method for dynamic group management. The method, which may be implemented by a vertical application layer server, includes receiving first dynamic information for a group of communication devices from a group management server. The method further includes sending second dynamic information for the group of communication devices to an application-specific server based at least in part on the first dynamic information for the group of communication devices.
