Detection based on the combination of the postoperative recurrence/metastasis state and the KDM1A expression level is provided for the first time, and the prognosis of a patient suffering from esophageal squamous carcinoma radical operation can be predicted: when the KDM1A expression level is low, whether recurrence/metastasis occurs after an operation cannot be distinguished, and the total prognosis survival time of a subgroup population with low KDM1A expression cannot be distinguished; when the expression level of the KDM1A is high, patients who do not have relapse/metastasis after operation have good prognosis, and patients who have relapse/metastasis after operation have poor prognosis.
