Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to an early transition of a data storage device to a low power mode. The present disclosure generally relates to data storage devices, such as solid state drives, and efficient power management of the data storage devices. The data storage device includes a controller configured to predict when a host device is to send a command to enter a low power state, prepare for the data storage device to enter the low power state, and receive a command to enter the low power state after the prediction and the preparation.
