The embodiment of the invention provides a display module and electronic equipment. The display module comprises a display panel which comprises a display area and a first binding area; the touch panel is arranged on one side of the display panel and comprises a second binding area and an opening area exposed out of the first binding area; in the orthographic projection of the display panel, the second binding area and the opening area are located on the same side of the display area. In the display module provided by the embodiment of the invention, a touch panel is provided with an opening area which exposes a first binding area in a display panel, and the first binding area is arranged at a part, corresponding to the opening area, of the display panel. According to the design, the setting position of the first binding area can avoid the influence of the coverage area of the touch panel, so that the first binding area is closer to the display area, and the purpose of reducing the frame width of the display
