Metadata management method and device for distributed file system

The invention discloses a metadata management method and device of a distributed file system. The method is applied to a distributed file system, a mapping relation between keywords of all levels of catalogues and index node numbers of catalogue metadata is stored in the distributed file system, and the keywords of the level of catalogues are generated based on index node numbers of upper-level catalogue metadata and names of the level of catalogues. The method comprises the following steps: extracting directory names of all levels of directories from a file path; according to the order of the catalogues from the upper level to the lower level, aiming at the extracted catalogue names, generating keywords of the catalogue of the level based on the catalogue names and index node numbers of the metadata of the upper level catalogue; searching the index node number of the directory metadata at the same level in the mapping relation based on the keyword; and obtaining metadata of the file path from a cloud databas
