Broadband tunable frequency single sideband converter with PVT tracking

The invention provides a broadband tunable frequency single subband converter. The broadband frequency tunable converter operates in broadband and tunable frequency ranges and has process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) tracking capabilities. In one embodiment, a broadband converter includes a frequency tunable polyphase filter having a plurality of switchable polyphase resistors. The multiphase resistor is controlled by a frequency tuning control signal to achieve broadband frequency tunability. In a preferred embodiment, a triode mode transistor is employed as a polyphase resistor, and different resistance values of the polyphase filter are achieved by turning on one or more of the different transistors in the triode mode.
