| Zusammenfassung: | The purpose of the present invention is to provide a sunscreen cosmetic which is capable of achieving high ultraviolet protection even when a small amount of an ultraviolet protection agent is used, has excellent usability, and is light in burden on the skin, by improving the ultraviolet protection ability of the ultraviolet protection agent. The sunscreen cosmetic according to the present invention is characterized by containing the following components (A) to (C): (A) an ultraviolet ray-shielding agent, (B) silica having a particle diameter of 0.3 to 1 [mu] m, and (C) a powder having a particle diameter of 1 to 30 [mu] m, the powder (C) being one or more selected from the group consisting of silica, aluminum starch octenylsuccinate, cellulose or a derivative thereof, wax, mica, sericite, and a biodegradable resin.
