The invention provides a picture synchronous display method and system based on multiple mobile terminals, the method is applied to a system comprising n terminal devices, display screens of the n terminal devices are mutually spliced, the n terminal devices comprise a primary device and (n-1) secondary devices, the method comprises the steps that the main device divides screen content to be displayed into n parts, wherein n is larger than or equal to 2; the main device sends the divided screen content to the corresponding auxiliary device; the main device sends a synchronization instruction to each auxiliary device; when the synchronization instruction is determined to be sent completely, the main device displays the divided screen content; and in response to the synchronization instruction, the auxiliary devices display the divided screen contents, so that the auxiliary devices and the main device synchronously play the to-be-displayed screen contents.
