Method for producing cereal mixture and cereal mixture produced thereby

The invention provides a method for producing a cereal mixture. Comprising the following steps: mixing 50%-89% by weight of one or more cereal fiber sources, 10%-50% by weight of one or more inorganic salts, 1%-10% by weight of one or more vitamins, 1%-10% by weight of one or more mineral substances, 1%-10% by weight of one or more mineral substances and 1%-10% by weight of one or more mineral substances; one or more vitamin derivative compounds or a mixture of both are mixed with 0% to 1% by weight of one or more other excipients to form a starting mixture; mixing the starting mixture with water to produce a dough; extruding the dough through a die surface using a multi-zone extruder to form a shaped cereal mixture; and drying the shaped cereal mixture to a moisture content of 1 wt.% to 5 wt.%.
