Passive liquid metal thermal switch and electronic equipment adopting same

The invention discloses a passive liquid metal thermal switch and electronic equipment adopting the same. The thermal switch comprises double-layer cover plates, a fine hollow layer located between the double-layer cover plates, a plurality of array type liquid containing cavities formed between the double-layer cover plates, and liquid metal filled in the liquid containing cavities. The micro hollow layer is communicated with the liquid accommodating cavity; the cross section area of the micro hollow layer is greater than the sum of the cross section areas of all the liquid accommodating cavities; and the liquid metal can flow between the micro hollow layer and the liquid accommodating cavity along with the temperature change, so that the thermal switch can be automatically switched between a high thermal resistance state and a low thermal resistance state.
