The invention relates to a method for determining the content of n-hexane extract in polyethylene resin. The method comprises the following steps: step 1, classifying samples; 2, calibrating the content of the normal hexane extract of the standard sample; step 3, measuring a low-resolution pulse nuclear magnetic signal of the standard sample; 4, establishing a low-resolution pulse nuclear magnetic signal correction curve of the content of the n-hexane extract; 5, measuring the low-resolution pulse nuclear magnetic signal of the to-be-measured sample; and 6, calculating the content of the n-hexane extract of the sample to be detected by using the calibration curve and the low-resolution pulse nuclear magnetic signal value of the sample to be detected.
