The invention relates to a device and a method for determining a medication administration regimen to a subject. Determining an administration regimen for a subject includes calculating an amount of drug to be administered to the subject per base period, and determining and evaluating a combination of at least two dosage forms available for administration of the amount of drug against at least two different criteria.
