Method and apparatus for establishing loss of pain in mammal

Methods and devices for establishing a loss of pain in a human or other mammal have been disclosed. The method comprises the steps of: providing a skin conductance signal measured at a region of the skin of the mammal over a time interval; detecting a peak value of the skin conductance signal within the time interval; determining a rate of the peak within the time interval; comparing the determined rate of the peak with a predetermined reference value; and providing an output signal indicative of a state of pain loss in the mammal if the rate of the measured peak is below a predetermined reference value. 已经公开了用于建立人类或其他哺乳动物的痛感丧失的方法和设备。该方法包括以下步骤：提供在一时间间隔内在哺乳动物的皮肤的一区域处测量的皮肤电导信号；检测皮肤电导信号在所述时间间隔内的峰值；确定峰值在该时间间隔内的速率；将所确定的峰值的速率与预定的参考值进行比较；并且如果所测量的峰值的速率低于预定的参考值，则提供指示哺乳动物的痛感丧失的状态的输出信号。
