The invention provides a novel calculation method of a shape factor of a polyhedron-represented nanostructure, which comprises the following steps of: decomposing a polyhedron into polygonal pyramid units taking each surface as a substrate and a centroid as a vertex, decomposing each polygonal pyramid unit into each tetrahedron unit, and calculating the shape factor of each tetrahedron unit, so as to obtain the shape factor of the polyhedron-represented nanostructure.
